Join AHN WOMEN & CHRISSY TEIGEN TO HELP BREAK THE STIGMA OF PPD
At MOABS we are dedicated to helping you at every step of your pregnancy. That’s why we partnered with AHN Women to help reduce the stigma of postpartum depression and anxiety through their #MyWishForMoms initiative.
Postpartum depression & anxiety don’t discriminate. With roughly one in seven new moms affected, it is very important that new moms are educated and aware. It can affect anyone, even if you don’t have a history of depression. And it absolutely does not mean you’re a bad mom. You may have heard about the “baby blues,” or feeling a little down after you deliver. But postpartum depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder are something more.

While your most important source of information and guidance will come directly from your physician, AHN Women wants to provide you with their 4th Trimester eBook. The information in this guide can be a helpful reference, providing an overall picture of what you might experience as you transition into your time with a new baby at home.
The 4th Trimester
Pregnancy is normally measured in the three trimesters that lead up to birth. But in many ways, the months following birth are just as important in making sure you and your baby are healthy – that’s why it’s called the 4th trimester. During the months after you give birth, your health deserves as much attention as you gave it during the nine months of your pregnancy. It is during this time that self-care for mom is extremely important.
